Privacy Policy

The Lancaster Card is a digital discount card sold by The Lancaster Ledger. This page explains what information we collect when you buy or use the card, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Your email address, collected at checkout. We use it to deliver your card link and to contact you about your purchase.
• Redemption records — which deals on your card were redeemed and when. This is how the card works: it tracks one-time and limited-use offers.
• Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested), kept briefly for security and troubleshooting.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes to Stripe, not to us — we never see or store it. We receive only your email address and confirmation that payment succeeded.

Who else touches your data

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — sends the email that delivers your card.
• Railway — hosts this site and its database.

That's the full list. We don't sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything beyond running the card.

How long we keep it

We keep your email and redemption history for as long as your card is active, so your deals and limits work correctly.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email collin@thelancasterledger.com and we'll take care of it. Deleting your data deactivates your card.
